So for example, if a player is in Diamond I, Division 2, they will require approximately 4 or 5 wins to ascend to division three. There are four divisions per sub-tier and these loosely equate to two wins a division. To further explain this, if a player is ranked Gold one they will have to earn gold two and three before they reach the platinum tier.These sub-tiers are further separated into divisions. These are three numbered levels of that tier that split the players within that bracket. Within these various tiers (aside from unranked and supersonic legends) there are also sub-tiers. As you can see, the 2 vs 2 and the 3 vs 3 Match Making Ranks are very similar (but not equal, however) compared to 1 vs 1. Here is a quick list of the available ranks that you can earn and their associated MMR:As you can see, these tiers grow in quality as you rise through the various possible tiers. There are 24 Rocket League ranks in total. These represent the skill level expressed with your MMR rating of all the players that are within their bracket and do so clearly through their quality system and their various related emblems. The ranks within the game are referred to as tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Champion, Grand Champion and Supersonic Legend). This ELO ranking system not only allows you to play with rocket league players that are of a similar ability to yourself but also puts you in line for prizes at the end of the Rocket League season.
